It was in this area developed pottery craft, also here produced leather goods. Now the activity of these places is imprinted in the names of the streets: Pottery, Kozhemyatskaya, still there is Tar and Vozdvizhenskaya. Vozdvizhenskaya street took its name from the Cross-Vozdvizhensky temple, which is located on it. Previously, there was another wooden temple, but it burned down.
