First Capsule Hotel Opened in Moscow9 photos
Sleepbox Hotel is located on 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, near the Belorussky Station. This location was chosen deliberately, as the station offers convenient connections to Sheremetyevo Airport via an aerorexpress service.
The new Moscow hotel Sleepbox Hotel features "sleepboxes" – capsule rooms designed specifically for this hotel by a team of Russian architects. These rooms are made of both wood and plastic.
A night in a "sleepbox" with a double-layer bed costs 2,600 rubles, while a one-person capsule room costs 2,900 rubles. Each floor of these rooms is equipped with shared toilets and showers for guests.
In addition to standard services, Sleepbox Hotel also offers bicycle rental, and guests at the reception can use iPad tablets.
The hotel administration is considering allowing guests to rent "sleepboxes" for 12 hours at a cost of 1,500 rubles – this option may be particularly convenient for travelers making connections in Moscow.
