In Grand Canyon National Park, there is an unusual attraction called the "Skywalk". The Skywalk is located in the western part of Eagle Point in Grand Canyon West.
At a height of 1,219.2 meters above the canyon, a glass-covered observation deck has been built with a floor and railings made entirely of glass. Walking on the Skywalk, you move away from the edge of the canyon by nearly 20 meters, allowing you to enjoy this magnificent view from an eagle’s perspective.
The deck is also situated above the Colorado River. Because the floor is made of high-quality glass, visitors have the sensation of literally floating in the air. At first glance, the Skywalk may seem fragile and dangerous, but in reality, it is not.

Its designers have ensured that its strength is four times greater than what is required for similar structures. It can withstand earthquakes up to 8 on the Richter scale, winds speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour, and loads of up to 32 tons.

The only downside is the relatively high cost of admission—currently $26 per ticket. However, the owners of the Skywalk plan to increase the price in the future.
