God and Devil3 photos
In 1902, the Hungarian artist Tivadar Kostka Chontvári created the painting “The Old Fisherman.” At first glance, there seems to be nothing unusual about it, but Tivadar embedded a hidden message within it—one that remained unsolved during his lifetime. Few people ever thought of placing a mirror in the center of the painting. Within each person, there can exist both the aspect of God (represented by the old man’s right shoulder) and the aspect of the Devil (symbolized by his left shoulder).
