Fairy-tale oak grove
One of the most visited places in the Kherson region is the park in Novaya Kakhovka. The park is especially interesting for children. He appeared simultaneously with the city in 1950 under the guidance of Faldzinsky, whose name the park was named. The architect was engaged in extracting seedlings from various nurseries of Ukraine and foreign countries, commanded the export of sand and the importation of chernozem into the park.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the city, a landscaping monument was erected in the form of a leaflet, which can be photographed near the House of Culture.
The period of birth of the fantastic oak grove dates back to the 90s of the last century. The initiative of creation belongs to the local sculptor and entrepreneur M. Navrotsky. He is also the author of 150 unique wooden sculptures of fairy-tale heroes. Central Park of New Kakhovka is decorated with ponds, streams and a mini-zoo inhabited by a variety of birds and animals.
