Museum of local lore, Kapustintsi
The Local History Museum in the village of Kapustintsi is part of the Yagotinsky Historical Museum, which consists of several small museums throughout the district of the region.
Local History Museum in the village located in the floodplain of the river Supy on the Left bank of the Dnieper began to operate since the 1950s. Then, on initiative the teacher of the history of the rural school Kulinsky Andrei Ivanovich, in one of the halls of the House of Culture the first several dozen exhibits. However, thanks to the intensive work of all residents of the district, already in 1986 for the museum they repaired the building of the old school. For today the fund of a museum consists of 800 exhibits and they are located in seven halls.
The hall of labor glory occupies a central place in the exposition, it reveals the biographies of people who created the village of Kapustintsi with their own labor, created its history, took an active part in the reconstruction of the village after the war. The exposition has exhibits dedicated to the life of the villagers of the late 19th century. Presented by historical materials of the village about the events of the Holodomor. A separate place is given to materials on excavations of housing primitive people at the "Dobranichevskaya parking lot, near the village.
