Baryshevsky Local History Museum
The main museum of the town of Baryshevka is located near the city center, in a historic building. Earlier, the museum's building served as the estate of the local master of Gladyshem, it was built in the early 20th century. During the Revolution, the owners left the house. From 1920 to 1923 in the mansion lived, worked and hosted the poet Nikolay Zerov. Such famous figures of Ukrainian culture as Maxim Rylsky, Yuri Klen and many others.
The museum was opened in 1977. The basis of the museum's exposition is the works of folk craftsmen of the town, the pearl of the collection - products from the vine, a collection of badges and badges, an exhibition of pictures of a resident of the city of Olga Usenko. The museum exhibits are divided into several exhibitions:on the theme of the Great Patriotic War, archaeological exhibition, expositions dedicated to Baryshevka - art in Baryshevka, famous people of the city.
The museum is open from 09:00 to 16:00 or by prior arrangement. The day off is Monday.
