Kokorevskaya arbor
Kokorevskaya gazebo at the Andreevsky Descent is a work ofarchitecturalartmade by masters of metal in the late 19th century. It was installed as a small space for recreation with abeautifulview ofthe left bank of Kiev, within the framework of the project of improving the capital.
The idea of the arbor and the means for its construction were highlighted by an honorary patronand anindustrialistnamed Kokorev, who visited Kiev in the1860sand was inspired by the views of the ancient city.
On Pochtovaya Square there is a secondKokorevskayagazebo, built at the same time and with a similar decor. Both designs fulfill the tasks set by the author and are an excellent place to relax on hot days and a cozy refuge during the rain. Nearby you can visit the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum or St. Andrew's Church.
