Monument to Victims of Communist Crimes

The monument to the victims of communist crimes in Lviv was opened in 1997. The initiator of the monument was former political prisoner Vasily Kubiv. Now every year, on November 8, the public gathers near the monument to honor the memory of those who died during NKVD executions. When the monument was erected, marble, granite, concrete, and bronze were used.
