Museum of History of KhNU named after Vasily Karazin, Kharkov

The Museum of History is conveniently located in the main building of Kharkiv National University. Here a huge number of archival documents dedicated to the foundation of this university are collected, exhibits reflecting the jubilee milestones of the educational institution. The university itself was founded in November 1804 on the initiative of public figure Vasily Nazarovich Karazin.

It is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Eastern Europe. A lot of survivors, he collected a myriad of knowledge, which he shares today with students and all interested visitors.
