The Palace of Bandinelli

Traditionally, the stone is called Palazzo Bandinelli. Several times the palazzo was reconstructed. And in 2005 the Lviv Historical Museum was opened in the building of the Kamenitsa, where on the second floor you can see the collection of goldsmiths of the late 16th and early 20th centuries. And on the third floor you can enjoy a collection of paintings of European painting, among which a portrait of Emperor Joseph III, written from life by the famous Italian master Pietro Antonio Lyabruzzi.
The Palazzo Bandinelli is a typical example of a late Renaissance. Its facade is decorated with white stone carvings, divided by inter-floor cornices, the main entrance is decorated with a portal. Above the windows near the entrance you can see sculptures of dolphins - a symbol of successful trade. The interior design of the palazzo is equally impressive: authentic wooden mats, gothic vaults, white stone interlining columns, inlaid with alabaster, etc. Palazzo Bandinelli impresses you not only with its interior and exquisite architecture, but will also get acquainted with its rich and interesting history.
