Manor Natalia (palace/homestead, 1884)

Natalia Park - a masterpiece of landscape architecture of the XIX century. Manor on the bank of the river. Merchik founded a well-known industrialist and philanthropist I.

Kharitonenko, naming it in honor of his youngest granddaughter Natalia (in marriage - Gorchakova). Construction continued his son Paul. Among the age-old oak grove (the age of some trees reaches 300 years), a manor house, wings, outbuildings, a riding-school was built. The park was surrounded by a graceful fence with a front gate in the form of a wide arch with a lancet roof. The decoration of the park is the Transfiguration Church (1913), built by academician A. Shchusev, who designed the Lenin Mausoleum and Kazan Station in Moscow. The temple is designed in the style of Pskov-Novgorod orthodox architecture.

The walls are decorated with ornaments and relief medallions by the sculptor A. Matveev, the sculpture by S. Konenkov "Crucifixion" is located at the south wall. According to legend, the exact copy of the Transfiguration Church is in Nice, but in fact Schusev designed a similar temple in Italian Bari. During the Second World War, the main building of the estate was destroyed. In the wings the TB sanatorium "Vladimirovsky" was located. In recent years, a partial restoration was carried out.

Now one of the buildings of the estate is managed by the National Natural Park "Slobozhansky", repair work is underway, a visit-center and an environmental and nature conservation museum are planned.
