The hills, overgrown with green forests, deep ravines, along which the fog, the islands scattered along the Dnieper River, is early in the morning ... This is a paradise for connoisseurs of beauty, which nature gives us. This place impresses with its richness and variety: age-old oaks and pines, over a thousand species of mushrooms, rare relict species of plants, flowers and herbs listed in the Red Book of Ukraine

There are many birds in the reserve: the eagles nest on the islands, there are black storks, balabans, snake-eaters, white and gray herons. These places are home to moose, roe deer, wild boar, beaver and many other animals that are increasingly rare in the wild.

Several ecological paths were created for visitors in the reserve. They also offer to visit the Nature Museum, which employs seven departments.

Tarasova Mountain is located next to the reserve, the very one where the great Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko is buried, on the grave of which every year many tourists come.
