At 35 Veterinarian Street (now Ivanova Street), behind a beautiful metal fence, stands a cozy mansion with a mezzanine and basement, built in 1912 by V.N. Perlik. For many years, it served as the residence of high-ranking party officials. Today, it is occupied by the Kharkov Regional Committee for Peace Protection and the Kharkov Branch of the Ukrainian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries. The house has been designated as an architectural monument.
