The former apartment building owned by Haritonov and the “Amper” cinema. Designed by architect A.I. Gorokhov (1913), it is located at 5 Sumskaya Street.

At the beginning of Sumskaya Street stands this six-story building, constructed in the Art Nouveau style.Attached to the rear of the building is a cinema that was originally named “Amper”; during the Soviet era, it was renamed “Karl Liebknecht Cinema,” and later “First Komsomolsky Cinema.” The main theater hall is located on the first floor. In 1954, the lobby on the second floor was renovated according to the designs of architects V.M. Orekhov and V.I. Puskarev to create a second theater hall; the entrance and lobby were then relocated to the neighboring building at number 7.
