Museum of Theater Arts

In the small town of Kopychyntsi there is a museum of theatrical art, which was opened in 1968. His ideological inspiration and initiator of the creation was O. Savka - director of the local theater of folk art named after Bogdan Lepky.

Museum materials devoted to the development of theater in Ternopil region, became the foundation of the exposition, which was located in seven halls of the House of Culture. Her subjects  acquaint visitors to the museum with the birth of the theater in Ukraine, with well-known theatrical societies of past times.

Numerous paintings, photographs, posters, sketches, dolls, decorations, pieces of furniture and many other things have found their place in this exposition. Today  in the main museum's collection there are more than 4000 exhibits.

Visitors to the theater museum can not only get acquainted with the original exhibits, but also have a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe located in the same building.
