Memorial Museum of Ivan Puluy
In the village of Grimailov in the Ternopil region, there is the Ivan Puluy Memorial Museum, which was opened in 1990. Collected in its walls, the exhibits sanctify the life and scientific activities of a famous physicist, translator and historian.
In 1997, the I.Pulyui Memorial Museum received the status of a national museum. For today, the cultural institution is subordinate to the department of public education of the district state administration.
The location of the museum was the local secondary school, in which he occupies one small room. Among his exhibits is also preserved the Bible, translated into Ukrainian in co-authorship with P. Kulish and I. Levitsky. In the mid-90s of the 20th century, the visitors of the memorial museum were the great-great-grandchildren of an outstanding interpreter.
The totalnumber of museum exhibits reaches 240, of which 180 are exclusive items: letters, photographs, copies and originals of various documents. Visitors to the museum have an opportunity to get acquainted with amazing exhibits that reflect the character, life position, creative and scientific development of I. Pulyuya.
