Assumption Church, Baryshevka
Formed Baryshevka even in the times of Kievan Rus, the first mention of the settlement is subsidized by 1125, then it bore the name Baruch. The spiritual life of the village was highly developed, the Trinity Church, the Annunciation Church and The Assumption Church is the only church that has survived to this day, although it was greatly modified.
The first Assumption Church in the town of Baryshevka was built in the middle of the 18th century. It was located in a cemetery and was built of wood. Today The Assumption Church is a small one-story stone buildingthat more like a house. They decorate the church with four golden crosses. The cathedral is painted white and blue. The main building of the church is attached to 2 rooms, which complement the ensemble.
