The dvinkovaya krenitsa is an ancient source, which is located in the Mezhigorsk tract. This object is the only reminder that the Kievo-Mezhigorskiy Preobrazhensky Monastery was located here before. An old legend relates to this place. The name of the source allegedly came from a system of bells set up by the monks, which produced a melodious chime. According to another version, bells were cast here.

It is said that the monastery owes its appearance to Prince Vladimir the Greator to Andrei Bogolyubsky, it was not possible to establish exactly. The first written references to this place date from a later period and date back to the 15th century, when the monastery was called the Cossack monastery. This name was due to the fact that the shrines were supported by Hetmans Petro Sagaidachny and Bogdan Khmelnitsky.

Unfortunately, in 1934 the monastery was blown up, and in its place was built a holiday village of the current party elite. All that remains of the former monastery is a source, the water of which has a metallic taste because of the high concentration of iron.
