1. Honda Civic Type R

Honda Civic is a modest compact hatchback that has an "older brother" - Type R. This is a car that competes with such "lighters" as the Volkswagen Golf R and the Ford Focus RS. To keep up with them, a 4-cylinder in-line 2.0-liter engine equipped with gas turbine supercharging and a system for changing the time and stroke of VTEC valves was installed on the car.

The power plant produces 310 hp. at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 N ∙ m. The maximum speed of the hatchback is 285 km/h, and acceleration to 100 takes just over 5 seconds.

2. Chevrolet Bolt

Chevrolet Bolt - this is a 5-door hatchback, which is radically different from other classmates. Most recently, the line of engines of the Korean elevator business class Kia Stinger replenished with a 3.3-liter V6 engine. The motor received two turbochargers and a direct fuel injection, which resulted in a power output of 365 hp. Acceleration of the car to 100 km/h is less than 5 seconds.

9. Toyota Camry Hybrid

Japanese sedan business class Toyota Camry in 2017 received a new hybrid power plant.
