Church of St. Clara, Gorodkovka

In the Zhytomyr region is a small village Gorodkovka. The village is an attractive place for tourists, thanks to the church located in it, erected on the shore of the pond. The architecture of the building repeats the features of medieval castles and estates.Construction began under the leadership of the Polish writer Eustace Ivanovsky, or as his contemporaries called Geleniusz, but ended after his death. Eustathius wanted to build a church in honor of the patroness of his mother Clara Ivanovskaya.

The appearance of the church is similar to our understanding of locks. He executed in the Gothic style.The cladding emphasizes the use of two types of material - natural stone and burnt red brick, and the roof is made of red tiles. Three bells are installed on the bell tower, and the windows are lined with colored stained-glass windows. The interior of the church fascinates and attracts the attention of a large chandelier of crystal, and the soul finds rest in the sounds of organ and wall painting.
