Canyon Uzundzhi
A landscape complex including a canyon, cascade of waterfalls and a cave at the source of the river.

A wild, little known and very beautiful place. The canyon is formed by the Uzundja River, it is not as monumental as the Grand Canyon of the Crimea, not as extensive as the Chernorechensky, but in its own way attractive and strongly damaged in the memory of anyone who passes it. Here it is necessary to go only on foot, because the canyon is passed with difficulty and sometimes even requires the tourist to begin the rock-climbing base. The places here are truly wild and do not be surprised if you come across rookeries of roe deer, deer or find traces after wild boars, foxes, hares. Where the canyon meets Baidarskaya valley you can visit the equipped Skelski caves. In summer the river dries up and, moving farther from the village of Kolkhoznoe, you will walk along the bottom of the river, lined with yellow and pink tuffolite. The higher you climb the canyon, the more likely you are to see the water. Here and there the rocks densely surround the river from two sides and you have to walk along the water. In the place where Uzundja takes its sources are concentrated immediately and a cascade of waterfalls and a small creek and a spring of Suuk-Su and the eponymous cave of Uzundja (small with a branched system of narrow passages).
