Alexander Green House-Museum

One of the most famous and visited museums of the city, there are exhibitions, creative meetings with writers, artists, musicians.

Literary and Memorial Museum of Alexander Green in Feodosia (Crimea), located at ul. Galereynaya, 10, in a house where from 1924 to 1929 lived a writer. The museum was opened on July 9, 1970. The side of the house is decorated with a large relief panel in a romantic style - Brigantine. In this house, Alexander Greene wrote such his works as Running on the Waves, the Golden Chain, The Road to Nowhere, Jesse and Morgian and many stories. The decision to create the museum was made in 1966. In the first years the new museum worked as a department of Theodosia Museum of Local Lore. On the project of the museum worked as a Moscow artist-architect, Honored Artist of the RSFSR S.G. Brodsky. The exposition of the museum reproduces the details of the life and work of the writer's office and the fantastic world of his literary heroes. At the entrance there is an anchor, oak doors, and instead of the usual museum rooms - Frigate Hold, Captain Geese's Cabin, Clipper, Rostral, Travel Cabin.
